Ocean, NJ (November 30, 2004) – SingleClick Systems, a provider of Windows®-based software utilities, and Silverline Software, a division of DreamCatcher Interactive, a fast-growing publisher and distributor of home entertainment, productivity and utility software, today announced a distribution partnership to deliver Wireless Network Ignition 2005 to retail outlets across North America. The partnership will allow the software to be available to consumers in time for the holiday shopping season.

In its Worldwide Home Networking 2004-2008 Forecast and Analysis, analyst firm IDC predicts that home network households will grow 25 percent to 111 million by 2008, with 36.6 million in the U.S. alone. With Wireless Network Ignition 2005, retailers will be able to address this burgeoning market and offer consumers a software solution to seamlessly install, configure and manage their wireless networks.

Wireless Network Ignition 2005, unveiled earlier this year, is a vendor-neutral software solution that eliminates the manual and often complex array of processes associated with successfully deploying wireless network devices and establishing instant connections. It automatically detects required parameters and configuration settings, and eliminates the guesswork of getting and staying connected wirelessly.

Key features of Wireless Network Ignition 2005 include:

  • Automatic wireless network detection and auditing
  • Powerful WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) and WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) wizards
  • Wireless profile management engine to provide an instant and secure connection to wireless networks in and outside of the home environment, such as the office, hotel, airport, etc.

Through Silverline, the software will be available in several retail outlets by early December.

“Wireless Network Ignition 2005 eliminates the frustration of not knowing how to resolve technical issues that consumers often experience when installing and configuring wireless network equipment from various vendors,” said Scot Zarkiewicz, Chief Executive Officer of SingleClick Systems. “Working with Silverline, we will now be able to reach a larger portion of the North American consumers that continue to adopt wireless networking solutions at a phenomenal pace.”

Pricing and Availability

Wireless Network Ignition 2005, with a suggested retail price of $39.99, will be available at leading North American retailers in early December. For further information, please contact Silverline Software at 416-638-5000.
